provides needed support to those with Sickle Cell Anemia and their families. Your generous tax-deductible contributions help make this effort possible.

Advocating For A Pain-Free Southern Colorado

The Ella Mae Bransom Sickle Cell Association, named for the late Ella Mae Gothard-Bransom, provides essential support services to those with Sickle Cell Anaemia, a hereditary blood disorder associated with a number of acute and chronic health problems such as severe infections, attacks of severe pain, stroke, and an increased risk of death. There currently are no medical support services available in Southern Colorado, which means families must travel to Denver to receive treatment and related therapies. This imposes a great deal of stress and expense on these families, many of whom lack the means to properly care for and support loved ones with Sickle Cell.

The volunteers at Ella Mae lend their time and, often, their own expense in supporting our Southern Colorado families, transporting many of them to and from Denver medical services as well as seeing to their needs here at home. This work can only continue with your generous support.

In Memory of Nancy Fielder

Our annual musical has been rebranded “EllaFest” for 2016. We are this year welcoming some of our most talented and gifted performers to an intimate evening of Gospel, Jazz, R&B, Blues and more!

Our 2016 event is dedicated to the memory of our dear sister, Nancy Fielder, who faithfully served as EMBSCA president.

Ticket Information

Our Musical Fundraiser will be held 3pm Sunday, April 24, 2016, at the Stargazers Theater: 10 Parkside Drive, Colorado Springs, CO, 80910 (click here for directions).

Level 1 VIP tables of 8 are $500 per table; Level 1 VIP tables of 4 are $250 per table. Both include a complimentary glass of wine, beer, or soda and chips.

Individual seating is available at our Level 2 VIP cabaret tables, which are $22 per person in advance and $25 per person at the door.
General Admission stadium seating is $12 advance, $15 at the door.
